Abdim's Stork

Abdim's Stork holding it's wings in the sun
Abdim stork is a summer visitor to Southern Africa, but doesn't nest there. In-flight it can be distinguished by a white cross on the chest to under the wings. Yellow-brown beak, blue mask, pink feet, toes and wrists.
They can be found in large swarms of up to several hundred. It will fly quite high, looking for outbursts of insects plagues. (Kleinswartooievaar - Ciconia abdimii)
