The Wood Sandpiper has a speckled back and brows that stretches behind the eyes. It has long yellowish legs and a short, straight beak. They breed in wetlands from the Scottish Highlands across Europe and Asia and migrate to Africa, Asia, India, and Australia. They eat mainly insects. (Bosruiter - Tringa glareola)
