Cape foxes

Cape foxes
These are small foxes (weigh up to 5kg), also know as the silver-backed foxes. They have silver and black fur on their backs and a black tail. Underside is yellowish. They can be found in open grassland plains to deserts. These creatures are nocturnal and are omnivores, meaning they eat plants and small mammals like birds, spiders and reptiles. They do not kill sheep and very rarely lambs. Their life expectancy is 6-10 years. (Vulpes chama)
